About The Chamber Questionnaire
As part of the non-partisan Our City, Your Vote initiative, the Cornwall & Area Chamber of Commerce submitted an identical 11-question comprehensive survey to every certified candidate running for Mayor and City Council. These questions focus on core civic priorities: municipal property taxes, housing affordability, waterfront revitalization, infrastructure renewal, business attraction, local healthcare advocacy, and community safety.
All candidate answers are published exactly as submitted to provide voters with authentic, unvarnished insight into each platform.
Every certified nominee received the exact same prompts, character counts, and response timeline regardless of incumbency.
Designed to move beyond campaign slogans and help Cornwall residents compare policy approaches before casting their votes.
