Unfairness allowed to continue...

The Cornwall & Area Chamber of Commerce is frustrated that the Province did not address the lack of fairness in what an in-store customer can purchase in today's (Jan. 12th, 2021) announcement. The unfairness affects small, medium and large businesses. Businesses that are allowed to be open for in-store purchases because they sell goods or services that are deemed essential should only be allowed to sell those goods or services to in-store customers. All non-essential goods must be sold through curbside and delivery. We obviously need to apply more pressure on the Provincial Government. To show your support for the fair treatment of all businesses during the lockdown please complete this page to send an email to the Premier and our local MPP Jim Mcdonell asking them to apply the lockdown rules fairly: https://cornwallchamber.com/fairness
