The Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce asks the community to submit nominations for the awards by filling out an online form. Nominations for the various awards will be accepted until February 09, 2021. In addition to the well-known award categories, two new awards have been added to the lineup this year: Environmental Impact Award and Inclusion and Diversity Award. “We encourage anyone to submit nominations for awards,” says Lynn Chauvin, Business Excellence Awards Committee Chair. “We rely on the feedback and nominations from business owners and community members alike to help us make decisions on award winners.”The Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce has presented the Business Excellence and Citizen of the Year Award for several years with a gala celebration. With the uncertainty that large gatherings will be permitted in the upcoming months, the Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce has decided to reimagine the format for award presentations for 2021.
