The Shop at Home For The Holidays shop local campaign continues to spark shoppers to spend their dollars locally and this week, 10 lucky winners were awarded $50 dollar gift certificates by shopping at one of the participating local merchants. It’s clear the Chamber / StarTek shop local campaign is having a positive impact in the community. This week’s winners are:

“I’m pleased that our local shoppers are supporting Cornwall businesses,” declares Chamber Executive Manager, Lezlie Strasser. “The notion of the Home For The Holidays initiative with its many prizes was our way of saying thanks and our community has responded in a wonderfully positive way.”

People who shop, dine and play in Cornwall can find participating merchants and download the Shop-at-Home coupons from the Chamber web site at www.cornwallchamber.com. “We hope shoppers visit the site and print out lots of coupons,” continued Strasser. “The more they use, the better their chances of winning a gift certificate and possibly, a $1000 local shopping spree.”

A number of names will be drawn each week until December 23 and the grand prize winners will be announced on December 24. Over 30 Chamber member firms are participating in the Home For the Holidays campaign
