Breakfast Connections-Employment Standards What You Need to Know

Ontario Ministry of Labour Regional Program Coordinator, Martha Cochrane will go over the top employer issues under the Employment Standards Act, 2000. Learn about employer minimum standards for hours of work and overtime, vacation and public holidays, leaves of absences (pregnancy, parental, emergency, family medical), termination and severance of employment, and more. Also, you will learn what employee records to keep and how long to keep them and the penalties for non-compliance. Limited Seating - RSVP required.
Come join the Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre, the SD&G Community Futures Development Corporation and the Cornwall & Area Chamber of Commerce for breakfast once a month to take a break, connect with other entrepreneurs and small business owners, share & learn from our guest speaker.
Each breakfast is $10 per person with limited seating.
