The Chamber of Commerce is a network of industry leaders representing the [quote_right]”We understand: it’s always been, and always will be, about the people.”[/quote_right]voice of the business community in Cornwall & the surrounding area, and we’ve been going strong for 125 years.
Throughout our storied history, we’ve seen the shifts in strategies, new technologies and the continuous evolution of customers & buying habits. Even with the ever-changing business world, we understand the one universal element that will always remain in commerce; the people.
“Your guidance and support have made a difference to many members and we are very proud to be a partner in your membership.”
Diane Pedersen, Bayshore Occupational Health & Safety Solutions
We have a growing network of close to 700 members (one of the largest local chamber’s in Canada), and we use the size of our membership to leverage a stronger voice for member advocacy with all levels of government; municipal, provincial and federal. One voice; one strong, powerful voice.
Peer Networking Events
Networking is a powerful marketing tool, especially in today’s fast-paced world. Through our membership, we organize numerous events for our members to get out and network in a variety of different atmospheres and venues.
Two of our networking event series, PUB night & Breakfast Connections, have been very successful in bringing our network together and spark important conversations that help grow our businesses.
Active & Engaged
One of the most difficult parts of marketing your business, is being able to reach and engage a large enough network with your message. We’ve got you covered. with a host of marketing opportunities offered to our members, we not only provide you with the tools to market your business, but we give you a large, active audience of people and businesses to market to. It’s a win-win scenario for our members.
Here’s an area that we’re taking a more focused approach to, recognizing the need for more applicable tools for knowledge-base development and growth in our network. To provide more value to our members, we are forming key partnerships with a variety of education and training initiatives to drive greater development in our business community. Our latest initiative Think CornwALL, is a monthly gathering of inspirators to discuss new ideas and current issues.
“The Chamber is leading the charge in putting education back into our businesses”
